I’ve missed you Tumblr.
As many of you know I was in Memphis for 4 days last week watching the tennis. Not only was I watching the tennis, but I was (last-minute) able to get a press pass, which allowed me to film pressers, film (and edit) interviews with players, and film some great B-roll of lots of the matches.
It was an incredible and invaluable experience and I’m still trying to process it. Over the next few days/weeks I will finally be able to go through the footage for myself. I’ve so far been solely getting footage ready for other people and other blogs, which is great (I need deadlines, and I need exposure), but I’m almost done with those obligations and now it’s my turn. Tumblr gets to be the space for my reflections- a multimedia diary if you will.
So stay tuned in the coming days as I post videos and gifs and photos and stories of a beyond phenomenal 4 days.
And yes- I was there for *that* point. I even have footage of it, though the angle isn’t good. (And the camera might start shaking uncontrollably once I figured out what happened). I have chills just thinking about it.
(But now I sleep. Then work. So actually no fun stuff for a while this is just a tease).
